?

graememk - 16/2/07 at 05:30 PM

looks like a gts problem, have you tried the gts forum ? no point in venting your anger here as we just get into trouble.

oliwb - 16/2/07 at 05:31 PM

That has to be the worst first post ever. Go and provoke arguments somewhere else. We all know that GTS are crap at delivering on time, MK's have a paunchant for going sideways into ditches, locost have no castor and tiger have the worst fitting bodywork! Anybody that doesn't know all this by now should be shot or use the search button! Its getting ridiculous now. WE KNOW! "if you in a hurry go buy from some place else".......Oli. (Frustrated)

Sorry Oli but I only agree on two of your points. One of them is subjective and the other two are just incorrect

1 - I agree: That probably is the worst first post ever.
2 - I agree: Tiger probably does have the worst fitting bodywork
3 - Subjective: GTS have never failed to deliver on time to a lot of individuals (ourselves included), although some have had problems
4 - Disagree: MK's do not have a penchant for going sideways into ditches.
5 - Disagree: Most Locosts I've seen, certainly do have castor.

Sorry to have hijacked your thread Mr Parklandsifa but if ever a post needed hijacking...... this is it

Phil

For amusement I might try and encompass all three of the above issues into my build just to prove the nay sayers wrong

So far I have

- MK Kit
- Some GTS Parts

Now all i need is some tiger bodywork..... but that might be making life a little too difficult for me So have had no problems at all with either.

It does amuse me that people make comments and stir up things like GTS when they have no direct experience of them.

heh, so you will end up with a car that goes sideways into a ditch, because you didn't fit rear wheels (axle didn't turn up in the post) leaving the bodywork lying in the road as it was such a poor fit it wobbled free.

Chippy - 16/2/07 at 11:13 PM

It would seem to me that the most sensible way to own a se7en type car is to build your own, for the following reasons:
1/ If the parts don't turn up, its your fault.
2/ If it goes sideways into the ditch, its your fault.
3/ If the bodywork doesn't fit, you guessed it!
And so no, and so on. I really hope that that helps somebody to make there mind up, ( and buy an MX5), just joking. Ray.

Duncan_P - 16/2/07 at 11:34 PM

That is if the car actually manages to get up enough speed without a bike engine to go anywhere ;-)

Or manages to pull away without stalling with a bike engine

Or has enough power to tug that boat anchor up the hill.

Looking at the feedback as linked above - Positive feedback - 12
Negative feedback - 1

Not a bad record really

Am I missing something. New user registered 1.01.70, how did that happen?

Why has nobody commented that the most recent feedback entry is 2007? Hardly still at it.

What's a troll? On a forum, that is.

David

Looks like he's been banned. Dunno whether that's a side-effect

Nobody's commented because this thread died in 2007, until you resurrected it
