Always spreading the good news

What is your problem with GTS? If you have something which needs to be sorted, I suggest you take it up with them in private. Rather than coming on here only to post topics to wind people up.

Stop trolling and get a life

graememk - 7/3/07 at 12:37 PM

good point.......

BenB - 7/3/07 at 12:38 PM

Well I'd just like to say in support of Darren that (my only dealings with him so far) the Maxi swivel joints that I bought off him arrived just under a week after I ordered them which, all things considered, I reckon is not too bad.....

oliwb - 7/3/07 at 12:41 PM

My axle came 2 days earlier than promised and at an unbeatable price!

Duncan_P - 7/3/07 at 12:50 PM

My dealing with him all been good thus far...... maybe being pleasant to him and not slating GTS is the trick

grahamgg - 7/3/07 at 12:55 PM

why dont you, post your complaint on the gts forum.as it is clear that you wont get any joy here,by the number of similar posts that have been cropping up over the past couple of weeks.

He neednt bother. I know he is a troll, and will be treated as such.

The issues are well know, and spouting off on any forum for the sake of it will not give you any better chance of getting you bits or money back. I would suggest a polite solicitors letter, if you want some recompense.

I have emailed GTS informing them that their landline appears to be buggered.

nick205 - 7/3/07 at 01:03 PM

As has been said many times before, if you have an issue with a supplier who has your money take it up directly with them.

You should also initiate legal/small claims proceedings to recover the money. If your grievance is genuine you will usually find this approach is surprisingly successful if laborious.

Never spoken to Darren or dealt with GTS, so why on earth do I insist on reading every one of these ridiculous posts???

designer - 7/3/07 at 01:31 PM

As this forum seems to have lost it's way, having gone away from 'locost car building' to postings/questions on any concievable subject, it is only right to be able to post negative findings!

Negative posting acts as a warning.

A company might make the best chassis ever, but if they take deposits and never deliver, how are peole to know?

If fact, it should make them improve where they are failing.

Negative feedback tells a company where they are going wrong, and should lead to improvement!

It's a lot cheaper than getting in a management consultant at £750 per day!!!!

andyace - 7/3/07 at 01:38 PM

Emailed Darren on Friday saying I was after a type 9 gearstick remote, got a phone call from him 10 minutes later, £58 switched hands.

Parcel arrived in post Tuesday morning, very nice too.

No problems here !

dilley - 7/3/07 at 04:35 PM

I had some problems with holeshot racing and posted it!no body questioned that!!

If somebody pisses you off you sometimes feel the need to tell others....I do.(although I do not know anything about the problem with GTS)

Just speaking in general, im sure we have all done it or thought about doing it at some point.

Confused but excited. - 7/3/07 at 04:39 PM

And it gets really boring on here when people rant about bad service and threaten to repeat posts every day until it's sorted. If the vendor doesn't read the posts it achieves nothing.
If there is a problem with a supplier take it up with them! Give them a chance to sort it. If you do not get any joy, then post a warning.
This forum should not be the first port of call in a dispute.

Macbeast - 7/3/07 at 05:17 PM

Pay by Barclaycard and let them sort it out if there REALLY is a problem.

Noticed that one of the negative feedbacks was someone complaining it took 16 days for delivery. Hope that person never wants to buy a bed or a 3-piece suite

This SH1T is the precise reason that I no longer bother to contribute to this site and rarely bother to log on.
There are just too many Muppets on here.
Shame really as this used to be a good forum for exchanging ideas on a particular type of sports car.
It has now degenerated into a forum for slagging of manufacturers and discussing all sorts of other crap, not in any way related with the cars that we are supposed to love.
HAVE A NICE LIFE (or rather go and get one)
