Bullet Cam / DV Cam setup for sale
Jubal - 14/9/09 at 04:43 PM

I'm interested to sell my bullet camera / DV camcorder setup. Purchased from fast films about 24 months ago the spec is as follows:

* Sony 520 line "pro" bullet camera - this is perfect res for TV playback
* medium wide angle lens
* Battery pack
* remote mic (so sound quality is great)
* all cables
* hard carry case
* (currently being sold for £115 at fastfilms)

* Super clamp roll bar mount with ball and socket head accessory - allows exact positioning / rotation
* (currently being sold for £45 at fastfilms)

* Canon MV880xi DV Tape Pal Camcorder
* features AV in/out, digital in/out (firewire and usb), 720 x 576, Widescreen, remote control etc
* international spec (as it includes the av in features - you can't easily buy decent DV tape camcorders with av in here in the UK)
* std battery and 2 x long life batteries
* car/desk battery charger
* Carry bag

One bad point - battery retaining clip snapped off and Canon wanted £117 to repair. I declined and have happily used a bit of duck tape ever since. LCB style.

This little package was about £500 new. I'd like £200 back for the lot. It may not be as small as today's offerings but it's a 100% reliable setup and very cheap to add more storage (buy more tapes!). Storage and archiving is also easy (just keep the tapes!).

If anyone wants me to split then the prices are as follows:

Bullet cam package: £80
Super clamp/ball socket: £30
Canon MV880xi inc accessories: £100

All prices exclude postage. Happy to arrange at cost.

I'm happy to make a short clip at full res available for download to interested purchasers. This youtube vid was shot using it but is obviously heavily compressed:

Thanks for looking.

The porsche got back on no probs. Had a chat with the lads in the pits, it was their first day out in a new 500bhp toy. Clearly lots of cash

The scoob was a race car of some sort doing about 600bhp and very well sorted.

That's a shame, but the bullet cam has gone (just put in the post). If you want the rest I'll do a deal to get rid at 110 quid posted. You just buy your choice of bullet cam Interested?

The same cam as I sold is 115 quid at fastfilms. You may find it cheaper elsewhere.

And replied. No offer made however so I'd like to see if Reman wants the rest of the package before selling the clamp on its own.
