I bought this netbook just over 3 years ago before a run of working away from home. I used it for about 4 months, then stopped travelling. Because of this I pretty much stopped using the netbook, and it's only been got out to use now and again. For that reason the only wear is a tiny amount on the touchpad and otherwise it's in the condition it left the factory. Battery also still holds charge really well. DVD writer is included and by Samsung.
