i'm after a piece of ali pipe 30mm o/d 600mm long for water pipe around the engine bay, has anybody got any lyin around or where is the best place to get i peice from.

How about an old vaccum cleaner hose. Dyson springs to mind but might be a bit larger diameter.

Zetec should be 32mm or 1.1/4" OD around a tenner a meter on ebay.

You will find aerial poles and vacuum tubes are often this size.
