nice one john, nearly had that fezza.

I'm off to Anglesey on Friday, hope its a bit drier, weather forecast not too bad

john77cars - 2/9/09 at 07:46 PM

it was ok till about 2.30,then the rain started, very slippy with r888 tyres

Flamez - 2/9/09 at 08:01 PM

yeah I have the same tyres. Thinking of changing them to yoko A539's as an intermediate. I'll keep the 888's for when I source another set of wheels.

What map are you running on your Power Commander.

What diff Ratio are you running?

Looked like you were going well, and at least you "had" the Ferrari by the end of the vid

john77cars - 2/9/09 at 08:14 PM

not sure on the ratio, but its a freelander diff

Dam it...... fair use policy on National Express Wifi, cannot watch the video.... dont they know people have needs.....

Flamez - 3/9/09 at 09:21 AM

you shpuld have gone by train [you cheapskate]

Hi Ash its a good clip around Oulton. Seems quite a high speed circuit compared to others I have been on, Anglesey, Pembrey and C Coombe.

I'll try and vid anglesey tomorrow and post up too. You should come along one day.

bi22le - 4/9/09 at 05:01 PM

Couple of questions please?
1) Thats not a normal MAC1 roll cage is it? Do you have trouble getting in and out of it? The frontback bars at the top corners make it look difficult to get round.
2) the sound quality is really good. Did you have an external mic hidden out of the wind direction?

Thanks!

john77cars - 4/9/09 at 07:16 PM

yes it is a mac#1 roll cage they made it,there is no problem getting in and out of it as long as your back is ok,i used may video camera, all i did is tape the front of the camera up were the mic is and it seemed have worked quite good.

Nice quality vids. You appear to be very mechanically sympathetic toward the car or is it low gearing giving me that impression?

john77cars - 14/9/09 at 07:46 PM

yes it is low geared,it will only do about 120 flat out.

mac1_rd - 30/11/09 at 10:15 PM

nice video

I like the gear display

A must with bike engines
