Supercharger sticking out

Say I had an eaton M62 that stuck out above the bonnet on an already road legal kit car, would that be a no no?

I suppose if not I could make an aluminium scoop to go over it...

and it would be great for cooling. If it's not legal then surely these two reasons would be enough to sway the law in my favour...

must be road legal if it already passed the IVA. i saw a triumph rocket III today outside my office with a turbo sticking out of the side so far that pedestrians had to step around it or trip over it. i believe according to the owner that the leave the factory like that!

it should look really good though.... and go like stink

A current pic would show a lockup with the car hidden somewhere under a load of stuff I'll just switch computers and upload more recent pics (aug last year is the most recent)

It's a kind of out-rigging type thing to hold the bodywork (yeah, full bodied)... don't have any pics of that though... The dash area will be fixed but various other body parts will be easily removable for easy access

not enough power from the straigt 6!? You could im for a rotrex supercharger if you have not got anything yet. Other wise maybe a removable cover? It will but down your vision over to the left alot!

But he has now ordered a 7L V8 for it. (LS7), so he will be replacing this supercharged Rover V8.
