Findhorn Cars NG TC chassis?
Alez - 3/12/08 at 02:09 PM

Here we go again. On this thread, entitled "Marlin Sporster chassis", I was thinking fitting some stupidly big engine (Viper?) to a Marlin. But yesterday I had a chat with a friend who has the engine from a AM Vanquish sitting in his garage doing nothing and he said, "how about an NG TC?" and I thought it looks the business:

So, does anyone have any pics of the chassis? Or has anyone seen it? On the website, it's described as a "cruciform ladder" (??).

Cheers,

Alex

Hi

A quick search found this site HERE. Plenty of pictures throughout the build including this one of the rolling chassis.

Even a RV8 is a tight squeeze in an NG TC chassis. They really are quite small cars, although they don't seem so in the pictures

Apparently the Vanquish engine is a V12. You have more chance of doing rude stuff with the Pope than you have of getting it in the engine compartment of an NG.

Thanks for the useful posts.

I was liking these cars because they do look like engines on wheels, which is the idea, kind of Yes, the Vanquish is a V12 monster, I start thinking stupid things when I see it sitting there in my friend's garage!

We'll need to think something else, then..
