Had a call yesterday morning to say I'd won the prize from when I'd entered a supermarket competition last month.

Had all this delivered this morning....

Rather nice!!

fesycresy - 11/3/10 at 04:26 PM

That 90% stuff tastes like crap.

Not even my kids will eat that

mads - 11/3/10 at 04:28 PM

yeah, I'm not a fan of dark chocolate as it is so that will be given to the other half I think.

The caramel one (second row from bottom on left hand side) is very delicious! Got caramel bits in the middle... mmmmmm.......

Danozeman - 11/3/10 at 04:29 PM

eeergh that lindt stuff is horrible you better give it to me!!

Liam - 11/3/10 at 04:40 PM

I'm also prepared to help save you from obesity! What a bunch of self-sacrificing do-gooders we are. I'll U2U you my address so you can send some over. You'll get through this, mate.

mads - 11/3/10 at 04:48 PM

Thanks Danoze and Liam - how very kind of you

But I do think it will take a while to get through it all... apparently it's a 2.6kg hamper!!

Stick the Lindor truffles in the fridge then when you have one just let it melt on your tongue... hmmmm.

adrian

ps. the 90% bars are a bit dry. Pretty much just compressed cocoa powder.

flak monkey - 11/3/10 at 05:14 PM

I'll take the 90% stuff. Love it

Not a fan of milk choc too sickly

clairetoo - 11/3/10 at 05:40 PM

Do you fully understand the possible dire consequences of consuming that much chocolate
For a small fee (well , nothing at all really ) I would be happy to arrange safe disposal of it all

MautoK - 11/3/10 at 07:51 PM

Lindt Chilli chocolate is sublime!

jacko - 11/3/10 at 07:58 PM

Eating all that will slow your car down

Benzine - 11/3/10 at 08:23 PM

The 85% & 90% are okay, it's not great chocolate but it's sometimes all you can get. Dark chocolate is the only kind worth eating, any other kind isn't eaten for taste, just a sickly sugar high. Dark chocolate is all about the subtle tastes, like a fine cigar but without the smoke and cancer.
