I just know someone on here is going to be able to help...
I have got 37 images of a golf swing (fast shot camera)
What I am looking at doing is combining them all into 1 image so I can see the swing progress etc.
I am trying to use apply image thingy (Blending normal/opacity 50%), but after the 3 image I am losing the first image, so not getting the full effect
etc.
Is photoshop the right program to do this in?
If so, what am i doing wrong.... please help....
If not what should I be using.
Many thanks
you probably want a program like photomerge to do what your after.
There is a photomerge facility in Photoshop. File, Automate, photomerge.
Or add each image as a layer then carefully erase all but the swing from top down, use the layer view on/off to get an idea where you are relative to
the background layer.
Maybe microsoft movie maker? that way it will look like a timedelay swing
I would suggest changing the blending mode to something like 'overlay' or 'screen'. Try all the blending modes. I also think you are trying to create a quite difficult image and there will be no quick fix. You will probably end up trimming out each image to remove the background. If you don't do this then I suspect the upper layers will obscure the lower ones as you have found. If you struggle U2U me.
can you email me the photos? i quite fancy having a try
