hope someone can help.......
i have taken the gaiter off the gear stick on my velocity to find a crack in the braket that holds this in place is this a major prob or just abit of new welding.

think ive sorted it all i need to do is re weld it , any ideas if i can do this myself and what do i need.

I think we would have all piled in to help, but we didn't know which bracket or which gearbox. You just need to check that the crack was caused by a bad weld and not some design flaw which would cause a repeat of the problem.
