great, how does it work?

it is a DOS program; it prompts for a value, with default/last value shown and you enter your values followed by ENTER.

I've seen that program before, it is handy, but does it account for mods to the engine that allow better breathing, flowed head,big valves etc?

i dont think so but its only meant to give you a reasonable starting point, a rr session would be the only way to get it properly setup i spose.
