Which way wheel arches?
Which way round do the rear wheel arches go please. I take it they are designed to go a particular way?
At the mo i have them with the lesser angle at the back.

They tend to sope down from the main body towards the outside... 
On mine the rear bottom edge is flatter (closer to horizontal) than the front edge, if that helps. Probably best to look at a few photos to see what
others have done.

yep, the rear edges want to be the lesser sloping of the 2.
looks god awful if you put them on the wrong way round!
dunno if the photo helps?

I have seen them done both ways and can't make up my mind.
On the GTS i think the lesser angle looks better at the front but on others it looks better at the rear.
All down to personal choice i guess.

Thanks gents. Ill go with the flow as i couldnt make my mind up.
The reason i asked was that i saw a Caterham at the Touring car on Sunday with them on the other way and i thought 'christ, i'm putting
mine on the wrong way round'.

First i did want to make an locost of a Supra Mk3. But decided to stay calm the first build.
Would it possible with that 6 cilinder engine? Would be nice...

yes, it would fit perfectly, buy, buy, buy!
ok, maybe it wouldn't. it's an absolutely huge lump, and it weighs far too much, for the power the 7mge puts out. the front uprights weigh
about as much as a pinto too (upright, disc and caliper must be getting on for 25kg) it might be alright for a lazy +442, but it's not exactly
in the spirit of a 7 is it? it's a tall engine too.
it doesn't have a lot going for it really, everything is designed for a 2 tonne car, so is huge, and bloody heavy. i looked when we stripped it
down, trust me

Saw a Mk4 with twin turbo. That engine looks great. 6 speed gear-box.
Would be scary to have in a seven though.
I'm stuck with my sierra N9 (DOHC) for the next 3 years
