My old car
My old car has come up for sale  Brings a tear to my eye, but vowed to never go back to a car.
Oh well, onwards and upwards as they say

How did it retain the plate from the donor car ? I thought that wasn't possible .
edit to say:
Oh I suppose he just means it's an age-related plate corresponding to the age of the original engine. Doh!

You might be able to buy the car back cheap now as he has lowered the price after blowing the engine up
