Anyone done Brands in a BEC?
Anyone done brands indy in a Mid engine BEC? Im doing it in November in my project. Any hints on gears for corners etc for a gsxr 1100 powered
car?

Just make sure you are geared for at least 130mph

Beware of Druids, I was a passenger in a Fury that snatched 3rd and we ended up in the right bank hard befor Graham Hill

I can hit 120 in a cec. More weight and less power than a bec.
I would look on you tube for in car footage.
What date are you on? Im doing the 17th.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Yeah 130 should be doable in a BEC, Anyway again what date? Im thinking of booking on in october sometime.

Im doing 17th November too. Im doing it with a mate whos got a Tiger race car and another with a tiger road car. Im in my project.....

The bodywork was done by bob at conceptracing.co.uk he's bloody good at aluminium work!!!

Take a look here. RGB- Race vids from Brands Some of the vids have data
logging on so you can see speed G-force and what gear.
