Any decent ADSL Router-Modem will work with BT these days prices are lower so it is worth going for the big names D-Link or Linksys, these days Belkin are pretty good too.

Although you don't need it with BT righ now if buying anything from another manufacturer make sure it will cover ADSL2 and it variants --- some router manufacturers use the term "multimode" for this.

Of course you could just migrate from BT to Plusnet (owned by BT) and get better service and a decent wireless router thrown in with the package.

Depends if you want to use the BT broadband voice, and the BT mobile phone that uses the BT Broadband when at home.

I have a spare BT Home Hub (no hub phone)

let me know if you are interested
