DVD ripper software

Hi, can someone suggest a free, downloadable SW that I could use to copy a couple DVDs to my laptop hard drive and take them with me to watch?
Cheers!

DVDFab5 is great, I have around 200 films saved to my hard drive using this.

Cheers

Handbrake is about the best I've tried. It will do other movie files as well as DVD and into many formats and resolutions including ipod.
