don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Fandabisdozie now I know what to do with that old mower. Does it work?
You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a
chainsaw

I spent 10 minutes sucking/blowing snow around with my petrol leaf blower/vacuum. Once it had a mouthful of snow, it just kept sucking and turning it
into a very fine, sticky powder that blew everywhere and wouldn't shovel up. Bugger..

Hard work on compacted snow, looks like it would be spot on if the stuff
was fresh.
Top effort.

So long as your neighbour isn't trying to look through his window to find that he hasn't got one because your "Monster
Garage" snowblower just sucked up and lobbed a brick/cat/small child through it

Seeing as they are binning the harriers, have you not considered buying one for clearing the drive ??
