Gurston Down this weekend
Evening all. It's hill climbing weekend tomorrow at Gurston Down.
Tiff Needell and Fifth Gear are expected too. It's not been confirmed but apparently they intend to compete in an v8 Atom..
Anyone going? I hope to be there!

Tiff and Jonny Smith were there along with the film crew.
Atom was stupid fast and Tiff set some great times.
Most impressive for its start was the Quattro....Christ it was rapid! I struggled to capture it on camera!
It's on again tomorrow - can recommend it to anyone for a nice day out in the country!

I had a good chat with the owner of the metro with the cossie lump during the last meeting at Wiscombe, nicely done although not four wheel drive and
normally aspirated not turbo'd. He'd spent a hefty wedge on the engine alone.
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.
