wow forgotten how fast these things are!!!
just came back from a run to southport.. its about 50 mile from were i live, a nice few long straights and twisty bits..
anyway i was sat there waiting at a set of lights on a dual carrigeway when a brand new audi rs 5 pulled up at the side of me. 2 lads in it.. now
these things are fooking fast.. both of them looking at me thinking lets go for it..
lights turned to green and wham we both let rip.. bearing in mind these rs5 s do 0-60 in 4.6 seconds..
well lets just say it wiped the smirk off the smug bastards face... and in the process put a big smile on mine ha...

Fookin clasic
I bet he'd be even more p'd off if he knew how little kits can cost compared to your average manufactured 'sport car'.
I really hope my meagre effort will give me at least a little bit of a grin when it's on the road

I showed a Ferrari owner up in my £3k bit of kit for the first 75mph

Different situation, straight line drag from 0 compared to corners. Balls and driving skill are more involved in the latter !
Not trying to put anyone down, no matter what situation/conditions, a win is a win It's always nice to get one
up on Mr Smug.

I had a similar thing with tasty Cosworth Sapphire.. I really thought he hadn't bothered until WOOSH! he came past at warp factor 10! Although I
doubt his top end speed would have been any good on anything other than a straight dual carriageway!

A decent FWD hot hatch will always win in a situation like that unless the kit driver is very good and has lots of balls.
