OT - where can I get this Vodka (or should say Wódka)

Following SeanStone's IPA thread its got me thinking....

I need a source of this vodka in the UK:

this is all I've found so far - but I'm looking for it a bit cheaper than that - its only ~£8 a bottle over in Poland:
http://www.drinkfinder.co.uk/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/15583/s/palace-potato-vodka/

anyone got any idea's ?

cheers
-Robert

Try your local Polski shop, the Pole who rented a shop from me sold all manner of Polish beers and spirits.

we've got about 20 polish shops near here and none of them have it (its not the most popular polish vodka)

" Palace Vodka owes its exceptional mildness of taste and flavour to a spirit derived from the best quality Polish potatoes. This is one of the few types of vodka in the world derived from this expensive raw material, making it a sophisticated and unique product. "

Quality like this costs.

Lots of things are cheaper in Poland than over here.

I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

I looked at that drinkfinder page and thought £12.81 for a bottle is dirt cheap - wouldn't cover the tax - then I realised that it was only a 50cl bottle, or a double in a pub!

I think I'll stick to a nice general-purpose whiskey...

Haven't been on a good night out in a while have you David?

50ml is a double, 50cl is half a litre.

yeah, but thats getting silly - especialy when they add on £6 for 'economy' postage on 1 bottle

so I'm thinking there has to be a cheaper way - I don't mind buying whole cases
(its made by the same company as the zubrowka bison grass stuff if that helps)

I will try costco and the like again, but I doubt they'll have it...

guess you'd have to spend a few £k on vodka to make it worth it though
but the exchange rate it realy good for us at them moment......

I'll speak to my mates wife again and see if see can get it ordered - she's polish and its her favourite vodka, but she can't find any up here either
(they had 330 bottles of the stuff at there wedding - I drank about 5 of them myself and now I'm hooked on the stuff!)

I'll second that. My chum owned the import rights on that stuff when he and his business partner had a malting in Kloosterzande (Holland).
He used to visit Warsaw regularly in his dealings with Zubrowka. 20 years ago.
