Small Turbo
Hi, Im looking for a small turbo (from a used road car) to put on to 1000cc bike engine. Im running low boost 5 Psi. Can Anyone suggest any car models
from which i can get one from? Ta.

Even though your bike engine is only 1000cc it produces far more power (and therefore consumes more air) than most small car engines, so you really
need to size the turbo to the intended power rather than just engine size.

Volvo TD04h - 13c
Low pressure turbo on 2 & 2.3 litre petrol cars.
If you stick something small on it you will just raise exhaust pressure that cancels out inlet, each PSI on the exit costs you 1psi on entry.

I had a big T28 turbo supplied with my zx10r turbo kit, it was designed to run from just 6psi with very little lag, if you look at all the turbo kits
for bike engines from Big CC Holshot etc, are always supplied with big turbo's.
