ETB Digi tools on Windows 8

I'm looking to buy a new laptop, but as most of them come with Windows 8, I'm concerned about running the ETB Digitools, for my Digidash. Has anyone else tried it?

I think you only real concern is the USB to serial cable driver. I did have issues with windows 7 when I first got it and one of the cables I bought would work due to the chip set/driver
