Bear with me on this please. I've yet to drop the engine out (Turbo is covered in pipework)and i'm am not upto speed on visual ID on these units. What kind of time scale are you up against? I ask as I am trying to sell the engine complete rather than in bits first. I need the unit complete so that it can be seen running. So here are some nice pictures to be on with....I know that the first one isn't the Turbo, but I like the picture.

what a helpful answer........

Cheers, I also keep getting thoughts of putting this engine and 'box in a Boxster. You can get 'shells on eBay for £300 plus other bits. the intermediate shaft fails on them and people make more money breaking them (and it costs more than the cars worth to repair if it's a very early one)....Bugger! Talking me' self into another project. Quick! Buy the whole car. PLEASE! I have put a start up on eBay with some lights off it.
