Sparkys Q - Wiring Permitted zones?
I'm doing the socket ring cable runs for my garage which has a vaulted roof.
All cables are surface clipped.
On the 'high' walls do i need to run the cables right up into the eaves, or can I come across at normal ceiling height?
Thanks,
Greg

As long as there are out of the way that they can not be mechanically damaged you will be fine e.g. along the top of the wall where the wood meets the
block wall .

Permitted zones were invented for cabling hidden by wall finishes etc I.e you can't see them but you would have an idea where they are.
As your cables are visible doesn't really matter, but place them out of harms way as previous answer.
