Cortina Wishbones
A way off yet but thought i would ask to set my mind at rest...
Darren,
I know the normal GTS wishbones are to suit Sierra uprights. But (as far as i know) I have got myself a pair of Cortina uprights (look better than
Sierra IMO) and was wondering if you can make wishbones (only the top one needs to be different i think?) to suit the 'tina uprights for the GTS
chassis? (Yes i will be building one soon!) If so will they cost any more than the normal sierra ones (i guess so if they are specially made).
Cheers,
David

Let me now how you get on with this because im thining of changing to Raceleda uprights and hubs (ali cortina replacement).
I think the only difference is that the top wishbone has to be a bit longer for cortina uprights.
I think there is also an inprovement with geometry by sing cortina uprights as the top and bottom ball oints are inline unlike the sierra.

I can and have done them in the past, and due to the interest i'll do them again for you.
They are both different, basically the Cortina upright gives 36mm more track width than the Sierra, so in order to maintain the same track width at
the front as the back, we have to make slightly shorter front wishbones to compensate.
Email me darren@gtstuning.co.uk and i'll sort it all out for you.
Kind regards,
Darren

Hey Darren, was just wondering how my wishbones were coming on? Sent you a couple of emails, but no reply...which is unusual. Drop me an email and let
me know when I can expect them (roughly)?

My mate finally picked up my cortina uprights at the weekend, so I have myself a little job when I get home
