The GTS alloy tanks have mounting brakets welded to the bottom IIRC so you dont need to use straps to hold them in. The brackets just bolt to the two
short tubes that run parallel to the length under the tank.

Some welders are really nice people, try to get along . Try Allyfab , Bryn is at most of the shows and
will make one to your design and measurements.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

He's not a registered trader, but I got my excellent ally tank from "Deneo" on this site, search for him and ask, was cheap too

The tank fit OK Mark? I have seen some of his tanks and they look rather nice.

I tried the plastic tank before finally settling for the GTS aluminum one.
The plastic tank will not fit directly onto the chassis, it fouls the panhard rod. You would need to reposition it higher similarly to the way
CaLviNx is suggesting.
GTS sells these plastic tanks as well as the alloy ones.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want!!!
