GTS Locost de-dion plans & roll hoop
Just a note to anyone planning to use the GTS locost plans and Roll hoop.
The plans for the rear end where the tank sits has 2 webbing plates cut at 45 degrees at either end however now ive added the roll hoop the bottom of
the backstays have nothing to sit on so these really need to be the full width of that section.
which wasa bit of a PITA as i had already welded in the webbs

You could also add a bit of rhs under those corner plates to stiffen things up where the rear stays mount.
I think from memory the plates will need shaping to allow the rear panel to fit nicely aswell....buzz a sander round them to knock the edges off.
My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.
