GTS sponsors BTCC Lexus race cars
Hi all,
The GTS Tuning sponsored Lexus IS200 race cars of BTC Racing had their first outing at Brands Hatch at the weekend. The racing as ever was fast and
furious, and the television coverage was excellent for us.
Last year the cars ran last and second to last at practically all the races, but, we managed to run as high as 12th and 15th out of a 22 car grid, and
managed times of 1 second faster than the best from last year.
Having had the cars for just 10 days prior to the event, and only finishing one car 10 minutes prior to the first practice session on Saturday morning
i think we did very well all things considered.
A package of improvements are being arranged ready for use at the Silverstone race in 3 weeks time, that hopefully will have the two cars running
consistently inside the top 10.
For next season i hope to celebrate BTCC success by offering points related discounts on all GTS products, so you all share in our success.

The total lack of sleep on Friday night, and the non-stop action on Saturday and Sunday did take their toll a little bit!
When you are still putting gears in the gearbox at 11 o'clock friday night, you know its gonna be a long hard weekend!
It will be interesting to see how the kit car and race car side compliment one another, so far the kit car side has been able to provide alot of
resorces for the racing, in terms of suppliers and technical resources.
In future its likely that the racing side will provide for more in house technical resources that the kit car side can make use of as well.
