Although i dont have a panther i did use the plans for the rear and the vast majority of bits for my locost are from GTS.

Do you specifically want to have a look at a panther chassis or just want to know about some of the parts (bones de-dion etc)?

I'm currently trying to assess some of the available options so I'm interested in the overall look and builders perceptions and reasoning behind the choice. A bit lazy, but just trying to cut out some of the leg work.

Most people seem to chose the GTS over other kits based on quality and price.
You may have to wait a little longer for the parts but in my view its usually worth the wait.
Whatever you finally decide to build you will get a lot of satisfaction from it, as well as a lot of scraped knuckles, headaches, backaches, cuts, bruises, splinters and arguments with the missus but it will be worth it in the end.
Cheers.

"a lot of scraped knuckles, headaches, backaches, cuts, bruises, splinters and arguments with the missus" - Well, I get all that already through owning an Autograss car so in for a penny... and all that!

Look in my archive.
The Panther is the dogs gonads as far as I'm concerned.
sure there are some things that could be improved but isn't there allways?
I'm nowhere near you but having built a Panther I can tell you honestly that the handling and general all round quality for the cost is quite honestly UNBEATABLE.
If other manufacturers could come close they would be doing well.
Just go for it there are much more important things in life to worry about!!!
