Getting there now
Finally got back to play with the car a bit so thought I would put some pics up.
Fitted the front wings today, made quite a difference to the look of the car. Been finishing off lots of little jobs last week. Also got the SVA
dashboard made, it’s not the best attempt ever, but it will do for SVA I hope! Made and fitted the propshaft spacer too, much happier now. Oh and I
took it up the road to turn it around, pleased to report it goes well
About all that’s left to do is tidying up what’s already been done, make the transmission tunnel top panels, trim the bonnet to fit, finish making the
gear remote, stiffen the drivers footwell plate up and make and fit the VIN plates. Then it’s a case of SVA prep and spanner check. Hopefully I can
get that lot done in the next couple of weeks while I am at home. SVA looking like middle of June, all being well!
Anyway heres the pics:

What thickness are the bent sections of the wing stays?
Knowing the history of these falling off it looks like the current design might suffer quite highly from stress/fatigue leading to failure.
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin

Dont know of anyone whose had issues with the GTS ones, but time will tell. I am aware of the previous problems with other wingstays though.
The bent bits are 3 or 4mm thick. Pretty hefty.

Immobiliser works a treat took a couple of hours to fit in total as I had to unwrap a big chunk of the loom to do it.

looks great dude
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

Thanks for the kind comments gents always encouraging.
Aiming for SVA after my exams, so hopefully toward the middle/end of june this year.
Some more tidying up jobs today, cable tie the loom in properly, and put a couple of rivets in the bottom of the side panels to pull them in, repaint
the bent sections of the wing stays and finish measuring up for my gear remote.
