You might be surprised at the postage rate for something this heavy.
Weigh yours and go to the post office website to find out how much
here.
Standard parcels, with no guarantee is £8.24 for 3-4 KG (guess)

To compare and contrast....
I bought a pair of revolution wheels earlier this year on ebay and was charged eleven quid for postage!!!
They were sent through the royalmail/parcelforce on one of their tariffs
They were sold by a trader so I know they weren't sent at a loss even if he didn't make a penny on the postage.

Its also a way of getting the price you want for an item ?
Don't forget postage included packaging, time to pack, transport to post office ?
We had a complaint not so long ago, £3 too post an item, complaint came "it only cost you just over £2 to post"......
"and the jiffy bag envelope was free then" ?
Its simple, don't like the postage costs ? Don't buy.

Its a branded pulley! Caterbrum brand adds twenty pounds at least

Postage cost aside the real reason for these Lotus spec pulleys was so the dynamo wasn't over revved on the old Lotus-Ford Twincam engine.
Dynamo commutators used to fly apart if you spun them too fast, less of problem on alternators.

I have been selling various mini bits lately and have been surprised by the postage cost, I've had to revise my p&p rate upwards, everything
seems to cost at least £8.24 in postage

He says delivery is by next day courier, so sounds reasonable.
I see someone is bidding over £70 plus £8.40 courier for his quick shift gearstick

I have had a real Fleabay clearout to try and balance the account after buying the Roadster. I was seriously shocked at postage costs and the various
systems to eak a little bit more cash out of the sender. Perspex pretend letter boxes to see which it fits through, poles to see if something is too
long. To think the post office was on the point of extinction up to the take off of EBAY. I regualrly receive items from the states and they pay in
dollars to send abroad what we pay in £'s to send in this country.

When I had my recent garage clearout I got caught by postage on a few items - but as I'd advertised the postage I couldn't change it.
Fortunately it was swings and roundabouts so I broke even in the end.

If you don't like the terms
don't bid on the item. It's a way of cutting ebay costs for some people.
