Bodywork
Does anyone know if the GTS bodywork fits on a Robin hood 2B. I think the rear wings and front cycle wings will but am not so sure about the other
pieces.

Hi.
I would say no.
The Robin Hood 2B is a big 7 where the GTS Panther is basicaly a locost or that size. as you say the front and rear wing may well fit.

I was thinking more about the w7de rather than the panther.

Correct me if I'm wrong,
But I think that the GTS Panther is a Tall version of the locost to accommodate the taller Pinto engine.
I agree with piddy, the Robin Hood is a wider 7 clone.

As piddy says, I very much doubt that anything other than the wings will fit to be honest.

The chassis is dimensionally identical to a book locost chassis. So either of the panther or locost GTS bodywork will fit a book chassis.
The extra height is in the nose/bonnet/scuttle to allow for easier fitting of taller engines. Still damn tight with my pinto though.

Panther is roughly an inch taller in the bodywork but same as book chassis. the wide is 4" wider making it 46" wide and as per Panther an
inch taller.
Well if i remember right it is....

Hi chaps,
I'm looking for a scuttle at a realistic price for my velocity.
I have all the other panels and i am looking for something to match them.
Are you saying that the panels for panther is taller, this i belive to be the same for a velocity.
Could i use a panther scuttle to finish off my bodywork requirements?

Scuttle is angled back at the top unlike all the others so might make it awkward making an ali bonnet...still possible to do but like a say bit more
fiddly.

The back panel is very close dimensionally to the 2B, they did sell one to a guy in cornwall who was rebuilding his 2B but don't know how well
he got on.
if i recall, the 2B nose is standard size anyway.
Cheers.
