Free to good home: McSorley +4" chassis
blueshift - 10/2/09 at 11:03 PM

I am emigrating to Japan in a couple of weeks and urgently need to find a new home for my McSorley +4" chassis. This comes with brackets, bolts, GTS dedion axle and trailing arms.

There is nothing wrong with any of it, and if I had time I'm sure I could ebay it and make a few hundred quid, but due to my potential buyers falling through my options at the moment are scrap it, or give it away.

Photos here: http://www.leetfighter.com/gallery/liquidation

I also have some other bits and bobs like a pair of Cortina front uprights and discs in good condition, all 3 sets of front balljoints, and the two "Build your own" books, Haynes manuals for Cortina, Sierra and Rover 3500. £50 for the uprights if anyone wants to collect them, and £25 for all the balljoints (can post these, add £10) otherwise I'll arrange someone to ebay them after I've left.

My priority is getting the chassis to a good home before I go, and as I have been messed about I am not taking dibs or a deposit - first person who can get to me to pick it up, gets it. If you want to give me a few quid when you pick it up, I leave that up to you. If you pick it up with the intention to ebay it yourself, fair enough.

It's in Milton Keynes, MK11. If you want it, or the other bits, U2U me your phone number or call me (Jon) on 0797 4304 999.

KAMBO - 10/2/09 at 11:17 PM

i'll be with ya tomorrow jon............

blueshift - 10/2/09 at 11:18 PM

Just to note you should check out the pics, it still needs the transmission tunnel doing, and brackets etc. but the main frame and back end is done.

Looks like KAMBO should be picking it up tomorrow, anyone else U2Uing phone numbers will get a call if that falls through.

knock knock, mr blueshift

eddie99 - 11/2/09 at 10:10 AM

Sorry to hear that you couldnt sell it

To let all the takers know, its an excellent chassis and very well put together.

Good Luck in your travels

Ed

carpmart - 11/2/09 at 05:05 PM

Its a shame you decided to give it away.

As per my text yesterday eve, I would have still bought this from you as agreed but time issues were the challenge.

KAMBO - 12/2/09 at 02:15 PM

workshop now full of bits again...got home at 1.30am.......cheers jon

blueshift - 14/2/09 at 12:27 AM

Cheers folks, thanks KAMBO for giving it a good home, and sorry to those who were disappointed.

Done and dusted, on to the next adventure
