You nearly managed it in your effort higher up, but you put http:// in twice, if you edit your message to remove one set then it should work fine.

Oh, lovely car btw. How does it handle? Seems a very reasonable price.

Have you got your eye on a particular ex RGB car???

marmot0 - 19/5/09 at 12:37 PM

Not yet but will be out looking at brands on the 21st, think Tim gray is selling his car at the end of the season. Would like to sell mine before looking, but I think i have priced it fairly reasonably so hopefully it should sell

Still for sale if anybody fancies a nice striker

progers - 27/5/09 at 07:32 AM

Just to let you know a nice Class B Fury is currently for sale at a very reasonable price of £7500. It has new generation Fireblade in it.

While Tim's Striker is very good, you will pay through the nose for a championship winning car (Tim is on track to win the class C title and probably the overall championship).

Thanks for that, have seen that one, going to brands on the 20th june to have another serious look round all the cars, would ideally like to enter classC as I am a complete novice. But do have to get my car shifted before I can think about it, if you know anybody that is looking for a nice road going striker http://pistonheads.com/sales/1052535.htm

Good idea to have a good look round before you make a decision. IMHO both class C and B are suitable for novices. There are several people who started off in B (myself included) in fact having afew more horses helps you keep up

Feel free to say hello at Brands, I'm car no2 the dark black thing....

Its my first season, first race i was in a class B car, then changed for a class C, but it was nothing to do with class C being more suitable for novices, purely the right car came along at the right time. If anything i think class C is more competitive than class B as there are more cars and more closely matched cars. I'd probably actually have more overall points if i had stayed in my class B car, even though i would have been finishing lower down the overall grid due to the class numbers and points system.

Just buy a tested and sorted class B or C car then you can just concentrate on learning to race rather than worrying about developing a car from scratch. But more importantly whilst doing it have a bloody fantastic time, i'm totally hooked and count down the seconds to the next meet!! I have no idea how i'm going to get through the winter!!!!
