I know very little about the vehicles/engines

Are the SD1 and Rangerover engines going to be the same?

Im guessing being 1976 it will be on a carb?

I know the exhaust manifolds are different on the RR, the rest should be the same.

No, the SD! will have higher CR. 9.35 vs 8.13 Also the water pump is different, the RR sits a lot higher and is larger than car i.e. SD1 one. You may also find alternator bracket is on differnt sides.

Yes, twin HIF 6, RR usualy had Stromberg - avoid the latter.

Yes at the moment because noone cant get at them.

What charlie neglected to tell me was they are stored at his dads house and his dad went on holiday for a week last friday when i posted.
