Got a pair of these surplus to requirements. Bought for my MR2, turns out they don't fit with the suspension I have. I've now bought a new
suspension kit, but it comes with a set of these included, hence these no longer being needed.
They're essentially a bearing mounted in a square anodised alloy plate. Very nicely made by HKS who, if you don't know, make a lot of well
respected parts for the Jap tuning market.
They've driven to the end of my drive and back, therefore as good as brand new. Few small scratches on the alloy, but nothing serious.
The top mount itself, where the shock bolts in, is M12. That little nut thing is internally threaded and slips into the bearing itself.
Might be of use to someone on here building a high spec car? Looking to get back what I paid - £100.
Cheers, Chris
