GKD legend part built kit, guaging interest
sdh2903 - 15/6/10 at 09:49 PM

For a number of reasons I might well be
selling up my GKD legend project as a whole,so i'm putting this up to guage interest, the spec is as follows:

GKD legend chassis

Aluminium panel set, including tunnel and cockpit panels, side panels, bonnet BUT no rear panel. The tunnel, cockpit and side panels have been filed and drilled off. Bonnet is still quite rough and needs final trimming to suit.

Fibreglass scuttle panel, nose cone and rear wings. (Untouched)
Roll over Bar with rear bracing. (drilled and fitted)

Fuel tank complete with fuel pump and senders fitted.

Front and rear wishbone set complete with bushes fitted

Suspension nut and bolt set.

Chassis has brake pipes clipped in along with front and rear t pieces. 2 copper fuel lines in and p clipped.

Comes complete with full BMW donor pack: 1994 (no cat required, no EWS fitted)318is engine and box, full engine loom, ecu, starter motor, alternator, coil packs, inlet manifold, throttle body, MAF, rear diff (fitted), driveshafts, dash clocks, horn. Front and rear brake calipers and discs, handbrake handle and cables, Also have car loom with all plugs to make a car loom (or buy one from GKD) Front and rear uprights (these require modification by GKD) propshaft (requires modding by GKD). Steering column and lower shaft, steering wheel, ignition barrel with key, stalks. I also have the V5 to obtain an age related plate.

I also have a set of 15” alloys off the donor, ok for build wheels but not road use as one hacked up to get rogue locking wheel nut off.

Steering rack (which I was going to get refurbished)

I also have a (non gkd supplied floor mounted pedal box which will need fettling to fit which I will chuck in too

Basically needs uprights and shocks to get to rolling chassis stage.

pics can be seen in the link at the bottom of the post.

I am looking for somewhere in the region of around £2750 for the lot but am open to sensible offers.

Any questions fire away. more info on the legend can be found at www.gkdsportscars.com
