35mm SLR - Minolta Dynax 500si Super

Having bought a shiney new dSLR my older 35mm one is for sale.

Excellent camera, owned it for the last 8 years and in that time put around 10-12 rolls of film through it, so very little use. So as you would expect it's in perfect condition.

Its an AF camera but of course has full manual modes as well.

This is a generic web pic of the body only.

Would also come with a Minolta 28-80 zoom lens, original instructions and camera bag.

Going price for body only seems to be £35 and another £25 for the lens.

So I am asking £60

Oh dear, I have a Cannon ES500 I paid and absolute fortune for.... only had 4 rolls of film through it...

Wonder how much I'm likely to get for that.

Good luck with the sale.

Eh! Paid nearly £500 for it! Is there no way to convert it to digital?

im still in love with film cameras for certian types of pictures.
One is traffic trails long exposures lasting several mins and overlaps.
Yes you can do these things in photoshop and digital format but a 100 asa or even 50 asa gives a deep clarity that is a zillion megapixals that digital format is yet still to achieve.....at a high street price

A modern digital SLR will let you use 100 ISO on bulb with no worries.

I do agree that you still win out with 35mm over digital in some situations though.
