Anyone know of a good low cost courier service, who I could use to arrange pickup and delivery of a set of wheel with tyres on them.
cheers in advance.

interparcel
(had bad experience with parcel2go, but I suspect they are all a pain when things go wrong)

I sent 2 parcels each containing 2 wheels 2 weeks ago yester day, via parcel 2go, Afte r4 days first parcel arrived onthe Friday afte rnoon - stretching the 24 hour service a bit I thought, the other parcel still hasn't arrived - they offered compensation at the weekend then suddenly it has turned up on their tracking system.
Moral of the story is to use parcel monkey or anyone else but not parcel2go, up until now they have been fine but their complaints system is very clumsy and time consuming - it makes out that you are the one with the problem when it is actually themselves who have mislaid the stuff

I used Interparcel for a couple of years and all was good, but then every other order I placed in the last few months has had a problem, usually non-collection, so I switched to Parcel2Go.

No problems with them so far!

I used P4D a while ago for a box over 20kg and it came to about £8.50 plus £2 for extra insurance for 48 hour delivery. They went through DHL. It went according to plan, so I can't tell you what they're like when it goes wrong.

Well just when I thought parcel 2go couldn't get any worse they delivered half of my set of wheels back home this morning, that is 18 days after they set off.
In the course of many mesages they offered 10% off my next delivery - that 84 p is really going to swing it their way for sure- words cannot describe how crap and slow their customer service ( a true misnomer!) really is

The guy waiting for them is heading for the Mongol rally and is pretty desperate now.
In contrast a large parcel from Plymouth was picked up 1.30 pm last Monday and was here in north cumbria by 3pm Tuesday-Parcelmonkey is the man!!
