2004 road registered Mk Indy-Blade
tompat3463 - 22/8/11 at 11:37 AM

wanting to build garage on my new property and the Indy must go to fund this. I've owned the car for around 5 months and have enjoyed every minute of it !

I am currently building an Indy at my parents property but my father is wanting room in his garage for his projects so the indy must go to fund the garage build at my property.

The car is in great mechanical comdition. Only bad points I could point out are if U are a perfectionist U will probably want to touch up some of the Sierra parts and some of the chassis with black paints as some small areas have started to flake off but really nothing major. One other thing is there are some minor scratches on some of the body panels. I'd say the bonnet is the worst however I have just ordered a buffer and will report back on this ad if I can get the scratches out.

tompat3463 - 19/9/11 at 05:48 PM

no bother mate..I really wanna sell the car as I need to release the funds to build my garage. thanks mate

YODI - 19/9/11 at 05:54 PM

Are you relisting on fleabay or had enough?

I was going to make you an offer last week, but the distance stopped me thats the only reason.

I'm in North London, on the offchance anything happens at your end and you're London bound let me know if now I wish you the best in your sale.

tompat3463 - 20/9/11 at 03:47 PM

to be honest I cant see it selling on eBay. Im not willing to give the car away I paid close to £6000 when I bought in the spring.

I'm offering it on here for £4500 which a bloody steal. If I cant sell it for that then I will rebuild over the winter and sell it in the spring.. It may bring close to what I paid for it then.

Obviously I would prefer to sell it now and get some space and time for my other projects and my new garage.

If someone is willing to pay £4500 for it now there getting a real bargain.. Its just flew thu its MOT with no advisories..

Thats just a small insight of the quality of the car.

Cheers Alan

theduck - 20/9/11 at 05:59 PM

I'll give you a Tenner a month for the next 37 years lol.

Only joking and a free bump, cracking looking car and if getting married wasn't eating up all our money I'd be very interested.

fullpint - 20/9/11 at 08:24 PM

£4.5k Its just the right colour but why sooooooooo far away

At that price you could afford to have it transported

scootz - 20/9/11 at 10:09 PM

Falkirk Car Carriers will get it door to door for less than £250.

McLannahan - 20/9/11 at 10:27 PM

Distance has never really put me off a car. If it's the right car for you with enough booking in advance you can fly one way or train one way for about £50 nearly anywhere well known in the uk. I think it's quite exciting getting a one way train trip to pick up your new car!

i bet you could get it done on shiply.com for under £200

johny p - 21/9/11 at 08:53 AM

distance shouldnt put you off if its the car you really want... mines up for sale this weekend. found out wife is having twins aaaaaahhhh. hope i get one more last ride out with joe and tom before it goes... gutted as spent 2500 grand on it a few months back at ab performance....

YODI - 21/9/11 at 09:35 AM

I've travelled all over the country over 150 times to collect cars I know what it's all about, but there's something about going 300 miles away to get a car like this, bike engined sitting on the motorway forever that just doesn't sit right with me.

johny p - 21/9/11 at 10:06 AM

can you not get hold of a trailer? 300 miles is nothing in a bec.. i know people on here whos driven to other countrys.. you might have a bit of headache though ha...

fullpint - 21/9/11 at 12:03 PM

Dont have a tow-bar fitted!! Guess its back to the search..

fullpint - 21/9/11 at 03:47 PM

U2U sent.....

tompat3463 - 24/9/11 at 04:56 PM

the cheapest I've getten from my house to Wiltshirem on shiply so far is £290.

I personally don't think thats bad...by the time I got to the previous owner and stayed a night it cost me around £500

For what you are asking for the car, add £290, and it is still a bargain. If someone really want's it, it's a no brainer.

YODI - 25/9/11 at 09:37 AM

It still means sending someone a shed load of money that you dont know.

tompat3463 - 25/9/11 at 01:24 PM

Thanks for that YODI !! really helps me sell the car that. This thread was to sell my car. Not a topic about how it's bad to buy a car online !!

40 inches. Ur right. I've actually getten delivery on shiply for 275.

I may be will to drop the price slightly to help people but when u consider that I've had added some modern parts ie digi clocks and paddle shift I can't help thinking I'm kinda giving it away at this price !

Atb Alan

Well done on selling, and Mr Pint sir? Congrats, I liked Alan's a lot when I viewed it.
