kawasaki zzr engine big spec
chrisni1986 - 10/7/13 at 09:24 PM

ok folks, really want your build to move then this is the engine for you

started life as a standard zzr1100, was then bored out to an 1109cc.. then the work really began

it has now been fitted with the following:-

1195cc 'superbike mike' billet big block (81mm)
yosh cams
mill oversize fererra stainless valves
race cylinder gas flowed head
billet clutch
modified gearbox (old zx10 gears used with 6 lugs instead of 4)
lightened and balanced/knife edged crank
muzzy dry sump
carrillo rods

this engine originally ran in a racing f1 sidecar outfit and was and i mean untouchable for speed, nothing could sit with it, tuned r1's, suzuki's you name it.. only reason for removal was due to the new 1000cc rule which ment we now run a zx10r engine. its a complete weapon of an engine and whilst it holds a certain sentimental value for its achievements whilst in use with us it really deserves to be used again which is why its for sale

was always ran on valvoline oils and had just had a full overhaul and basically running in miles before removal

i understand that this is now an older generation engine but the cost to build an engine to such a spec would still cost quite a bit which is why i would only listen to sensible offers. anyone genuinely interested drop me a pm and we can discuss further

thanks

Hello Chris,

Is a lot of time not talking about this topic but unfortunately I found this forum just now.

Maybe the engine is still for sale or anyone has information on the Kawasaki ZZR 1100 engine prepared?

Many thanks
