Bike rack for landrover or 4x4 for sale
Andybarbet - 30/7/13 at 09:42 PM

I am selling our genuine landrover bike rack, no longer needed because we dont have a 4x4 & I could really do with some cash since my wife has been out of work for 6 months.

It has a plate that bolts behind your towball & the rack itself just drops on when you want to use it & has a plate that you tighten up to hold it, has provision for padlock which I will supply too.

It is joggled out to clear the spare wheel if you have one on the backdoor, it has black pads to take 2 bikes but we used it to carry 3 bikes when we used to go to centre parcs, i just put some pipe insulation foam on to protect the rack & the 3rd bike, its an incredibly strong rack !
I bought it because I didnt want one of the ones that hung on the spare wheel, i didnt fancy that much extra weight on the back door.
Apparently you can still tow a trailer/caravan when this is fitted too but ive never tried it.

It is the same as ebay item number 320712623760,

Always kept in the dry when it wasn't used (so for most of its life)

These retail between £300 & £500 depending if you buy it for a landrover or a range rover, its the same rack that fits both as long as you have a bolt on type towball.

Im asking for £60, collection from Stevenage North Herts or I could drop it down to my parents near Junction 25 of the M25.
I will also happily package it up if you want to arrange a courier to pick it up.

Cant seem to upload photo from my phone but in pretty much as new condition like this one
