Hi all

My friend and engineer race team has just completed the rebuild of a heavy duty type 9 gearbox as found in a 2.8 capri,short input shaft

This is complete rebuild and replaced any parts that was required all new seals and any worn parts replaced so is like new again

ratio are
1st 29/15
2nd 25/24
3rd 21/29
4th 19/33
5th 19/40

price £659 as a fully rebuilt gearbox, can possibly arrange delivery or postage but will be extra as is very heavy

Can you explain the gear ratio please?

sorry they are the top and bottom gears it will be

1st 3.36:1
2nd 1.81:1
3rd 1.26:1
4th 1:1
5th o.82:1

Any idea what it would cost to get a usable first gear put in?
