Small lightweight Trailer
Jon Ison - 29/11/15 at 04:21 PM

Just purchased a enclosed trailer so my trusty steed of 10 years plus is available.

It as a tilt bed very quick load/unload, winch, LED rear lights normal marker lights on mudguards, spare wheel that's never seen tarmac, will fit into a normal garage, my car is std locost dimensions and fits a treat, as to go on forwards as its wider at rear than front, its cold its dark so photos are snatched from Facebook, I will get accurate dimensions tomorrow.

It is not braked, I've always towed behind van so never an issue, it sits there straight and true at 70 leptons plus.

Needs a lick of paint but its done me proud, it is what it is, small lightweight easy to handle trailer.

£400 fair ? Viewing/collection just north of Skegness.

That looks like my old trailer. Great bit of kit if it is. Didn't even have suspension when I had it but towed unbelievably well.
One of the easiest trailers I've ever had for quick loading/unloading. It wad built by a local grass track racer.
Someone buy it quick :-)

It is, all I have done is add indespension units, LED lights & alloy wheels even with car on its a doddle to move around, would be about 10 years since I bought it from you?

Think you might have bought it off Mark H Jon ? , pretty sure I passed it on to him and yes I guess it would be 10 years ago. Good to see it's been improved
And still going strong. Good trailer for someone at that price.

I remember it been from Leeds, it's that long ago I forget who from.

Darn! If you were not so far away I would have that as its exactly what I'm looking at the right price!
Good luck with the sale .

Coventry, too far?

I drove down to Maidstone n back for its replacement, 400+ mile round trip.

Meet half way Jon. That's what I normally do when shifting a trailer!

mazie - 29/11/15 at 10:57 PM

OK too far to come and get this side of Christmas anyway. Depends if you don't mind waiting till January sometime Jon?
If so I'll have it.
How long is it by the way?

mazie - 29/11/15 at 11:14 PM

Thought I'd double check my cars maximum un-braked going weight and it's 740kg. The fury is a tad chubby at 660kg so unless the trailer weighs less than 85ish kg I'm buggered :-(

Is your westy a widebody ? will a wide body fit ?

I see you can fit it in your garage! how long/ wide is your garage?

many thanks

Paul
