Jaguar S Type Diesel
swanny - 9/3/16 at 08:52 AM

To fund my new kit car purchase i'm having to sell my lovely jaguar and buy something cheap and nasty.

The car is a 2004 2.7 automatic diesel car with 83,000 on the clock and a full service history. When I bought the car it was suffering from a slight lurching in the gearbox, which was cured by £600s worth of work at my local jaguar specialist. (essentially a full and very thorough gearbox service) They also gave her a thorough going over and suggested that this was the only thing the car needed. So she is now lovely and smooth and wafty as she should be.

The car has lots of toys:

Touch screen sat nav
Cruise control
Air con
Electric leather memory heated seats
rain sensing wipers
Automatic headlights
heated windscreen
heated mirrrors
autodipping rear view mirror
parking sensors front and rear

I'm looking for £3750 ono

What / How much do you classify as cheap and nasty?

Steve

Lots of things are cheap and nasty in comparison! so realistically nothing too nasty. it has to be nice enough for the wife to drive

what i'm looking for is a nice reliable well looked after run about. four doors etc to ferry the family around with a max price of about £1300.

from what i can see this puts me in the market for well lovely old lady owned basic models of things like, daewoo, chevrolet lacettis, toyota corollas etc.

Shame about the four doors as I have a nice MR2 roadster I was looking to sell.

At least you've given a few more options for people for P/Ex etc if you're willing to go down that route.

Good Luck

Steve

Would jump at it but need rid of the MR2 first due to lack of space.

Cheers
