Raw Striker 2 Litre Supercharged For Sale.
rawstriker - 22/8/16 at 11:39 AM

Raw Striker bought new by me in 2012 on a '62 plate.

Car based near Hereford.

Road legal and will come with 12 month MOT.

220bhp Ford Zetec Supercharged.

Full cage.

LSD.

Toyo R888R tyres (not R888s in photo).

Less than 4000 miles but need to check exact mileage.

Hi-Spec brakes.

Full spec and more pictures to follow, I'm trying to find the build sheet!

Asking price will be around 12k ono. Can anyone comment on the price and if it is reasonable please?

Thanks for looking.

Moderators please note:

I have read the For Sale guidelines that state "It was not intended for people to sign up and just use the 'For Sale' section as a means to flog their wares for free" and I fully appreciate that.

That is why I made a donation to skip the 7 day/10 post minimum before posting in this forum and I hope this is not against the rules.

Thanks

For moderators to decide but for me pay your money, support the site, I'm ok with that.
Price wise, the Striker is a great car usually at the affordable end of the market as it is pretty Raw ( pun intended) so usually a third of your sake price that said a supercharged Zetec is a point in its favour as are the high spec brakes from here on you need to show what else is top notch.
Your new to the site, we are closet geeks when it comes to kit car engineering so quote the full spec and don't spare the detailed photos
We will engage

Thanks for the reply snapper.

I will post the full spec in the next few days when Raw get back to me, I seem to have mislaid my build sheet!

All I will say is that the car is amazing on the track, in fact only about 300 of the miles have been done on the road as it was run in.

Track day after track day the car has been spot on.

It cost me a bit over 23k new I believe, so halving in value over four years is not ideal but who can put a price on fun!

Someone will get a great car for half of the new cost.

The reason I'm selling is as I'm in the process of turning my E46 M3 in to a track car and don't really need two track cars!

Any test drives/enquires welcome, please email trb925@gmail.com and I will get back to you asap.

From some feedback my price will have to be more like 10.5K I think.

Full spec still to follow and some more pictures below.

Edited to add, I still need to check the mileage as I keep the car elsewhere but I'm pretty sure it is under 4,000 miles.

I would say you will not get over 9K as for some reason Strikers do not command what they should. I have owned 4 so far and my old black supercharged monster sold for under £8K a few years ago. Good luch anyway and I will be on the hunt for a Striker in the very near future.

Thank you for your reply!

Any other opinions will be gratefully received.

Sadly Strikers never seem to fetch what they should, which is a shame as they are a great car.

The other thing to bare in mind in that we're approaching the end of the 'season' now and 7's are always worth more at the beginning of it

Nice car, Good luck with the sale

Well done I hope you got the money you wanted for it , I've had 3 strikers as has been said massively undervalued best seven style car out there in opinion.if I ever buy another kitcar it will be another striker .
