whats the story on this book then, dont know it...
Is that Ron Champion's other name?
Its not a bad book and a good companion the the haynes build your own as you need plans anyway , its based on the mazda miata or MX5 as we know it.
Not that I ever take notice of stereotypes, but considering it was done by an american, I was pleasantly surprised to find that book quite well
written.
It is a good accompaniment to the book as said above, but I think it's worth a read even if you don't have any of the other three!
Steve
SOLD!
Well bought, to be grammatically correct.
Actually, he's Canadian, but lives in the US. One of his pictures in the book and on his website
www.cheapsportscar.net
clearly has our flag in front of his house. Must have been taken on July 1.
Some Americans don't really like foreigners (I lived in California myself for a while), so I suppose he doesn't advertise himself as one of
us, but he doesn't seem to hide it either. He's a very personable guy who seems to know EVERYTHING about the MX5. Don't be afraid to
email him directly, or even phone Flyin'Miata, where he works.
Aaahh, that explains the "well-written(ness)" about it then!!!
I was a bit surprised by it!

Keith has posted here too so will probably pop up if the thread is noticed.
Sold to Confused but excited.
Thanks.
Thanks for the kind words, folks
By the way, I've only been around this forum randomly in the past. I'm going to try to be a more frequent contributor and help out wherever
I can. If there are Miata/MX-5 questions I can help with and I don't answer, feel free to give me a poke at keith@miata.net.
And yes, I was born and educated in Canada with a little bit of Australian schooling thrown in there as well
