One of my best mates and fellow NE7ER Ted / Simon / The Count is selling his car. Unfortunately he has a really bad back and faced with an operation
on it to fix it, it doesn't look like he'll ever be able to drive his 7 again
So I thought I'd put it up here for him and see if anyone is interested.
"It's a Caterham Super Seven. It's red (so it's fast)!
1600 crossflow engine with twin webbers on & K&N Filters.
Taxed till end March 08, MOT till Oct 11 08
Amateur built in 1992 from a complete Caterham Kit, Reg is Q215 GRN.
Cycle wings fitted, crappy old man wings available as spares.
Maintained and serviced by Brian at HWR Motorsport, who tells me it is one of
the best he has driven. Mileage is just under 21,000.
I have had the car for 3 1/2 years and never had a problem.
Bench seats with 4 point racing harness seatbelts (both seats). Full set of wet weather gear. Recent tyres (I think Toyo's?) on 13"
alloys.
Full service history and original assembly guide available.
If anyone wants any more info please let me know.
Again guys, thanks for all your help.
Offers over £7k are what i'm after
Simon (Ted)"
Obviously, he's only ever driven it like a little old lady and never tracked it I can honestly say, having been a passenger in it, it is a
very well sorted and fast car. Save yourself the bother of the build / SVA / DVLA / divorce. Buy this and you could be blatting by Saturday!
Contact me for more details via U2U.

If you really must spend 7 grand on your seven, this seems like a good place to do it.
If only :-
a) I fitted
b) I had 7 grand.
Looks as if it needs the front anti-roll bar slackened off little!
Caber
And a little more roll resistance at the back too.

Ok, so when I said well sorted, I meant the engine goes well! Don't we all spend money making them go faster first, then worry about the
handling later?
I guess it could do with a bit of adjustment on the suspension, but it's all adjustable so you can play around with it until you can get all 4
wheels on the deck!
I think this is a more honest advert, rather than a staged photo of a freshly washed and polished car on someones gravel drive!
Pistonheads advert will follow shortly.
Cheers
