Dont know if it helps but we have a pair of twin 40 Solex carbs in the garage and they came off a Fiat Strada Abarth

Usual OEM application of of side draft Solex was on 1960's and 70's 4 cylinder Twincam Alfa Romeos where they were an alternative to Weber or Delotro.

Almost impossible to re-jet for Ford engines.
